September Meeting: Debrief

Meetings No Comments »

Thanks everyone that came along tonight!

We had a good night of having a drink, nibbles and talking about diving, holidays, sailing...

and ColdFusion of course!

Things like:

  • Should you output content from a CFC?
  • How can you auto-document you custom tag libs?
  • Why can't you set up a "Cfimport" at application level so you don't need to do it on a template-by-template basis?
  • Railo in production
  • CFBuilder, and it's features
  • Will you be able to get introspection on Components from an object factory?
  • Will there be a manifest.xml for CF custom tags in CFBuilder?
  • Is calling a CFC like a custom tag *actually* useful?
  •  ...and many more

These are some of the topics discussed, and I'm sure we came up with the *right* answers, but didn't write them down sorry!

See you next month @ APN with a presentation on Mura.
